Metallic tea hats, flower-wrapped cloches and jet-feathered crowns topped the fine, blown-out tresses of the mostly female crowd of 600 at the 5th annual Party in the Park, presented by the Justine Mee Liff Fund Luncheon in support of the preservation of the Emerald Necklace parks. Enormous tents of crisp white canvas blanketed Clemente Field in the Back Bay Fens. Co-chairs Pam Lazares and Jane Roy and vice co-chairs Molly Dunne and Lynn Dale organized the luncheon, which honored philanthropists Ted and Joan Cutler with the Justine Liff Spirit Award. If there’s one event worth suffering through a case of “hat head,” it’s this one. Hats off, ladies.
