If the fashion students at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design have any say about future trends, we’ll be wrapped in caramel leather corseted hoodies and black straightjacket gowns in no time. Ah, artists. Boldfacers sat in the front row at the Cyclorama Boston Center for the Arts for the two-hour fashion show showcasing the dramatic, dazzling, daring designs of the senior class. Millie Bautista (Boldfacers profile 4/29) unveiled her collection of red carpet gowns saturated in velvets, chiffons and ruffles while other classmates introduced two-toned geometric swing coats and red and white maxi-dresses begging for Prince Charming. The world may be a stage, but the fun starts on the catwalk.
