Over 600 guests attended the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum’s Opening Bash on Thursday, January 19, 2012 to celebrate the opening of the new Renzo Piano-designed wing and reopening of the Museum. It also marked the return of the popular Gardner After Hours series, which falls on the third Thursday of every month. Special guests at the party included the Gardner Museum’s Young Patrons, a group of young professionals and art enthusiasts who support the Museum’s vibrant legacy through philanthropic commitment and leadership. Young Patrons Committee co-chairs Jessica Nigrelli and Ashley Wisneski were on hand along with committee members Ingrid Anid, Caroline Costin, Melody Dai, Melissa Doering, Joanna Humphrey, Amy Mugherini, and Julia Owens. Guests were treated to hors d’oeuvres by the Museum’s new Café G, music around the courtyard, and Peter Bufano on the accordion in the new wing.
